It’s 2019 in Boston, MA, and 18-year-old Billie, a pre-professionally Vaganova-trained ballet dancer, has four months until her final pas de deux exam. She has one goal: to be better than Gia, the best dancer in the class, a ballet “unicorn", and the girl who just became Billie's new roommate. Is it just rivalry and envy, or is there something else at play?
