The Origin of HamiKuma
Finally, the HamiKuma's origin has been made into an animation...!
HamiKuma was a side-show act in a traveling circus. His adorable appearance and quirky movements quickly drew huge crowds wherever the circus went. Jealous of his growing popularity, the other performers feared he would soon become the star. Rumors also spread that HamiKuma wasn’t even a real bear. One night, they lured him into the big top and cut open his belly, hoping to discover what was hiding inside. Desperate to cover their crime, they set the tent on fire, killing HamiKuma in the blaze. His soul entered the afterlife, where it remained until Death Bringer, a parasitic demon of the underworld, crawled into HamiKuma’s belly and used his body to return to the surface. Though HamiKuma gained eternal life, his soul was left behind. Now back in our world, HamiKuma performs once again. He may be the star of the show, but his belly remains open, with strange mysteries waiting to crawl their way out...
