Cain Morgan, founder of APEX Capital, works as a taxi driver in seclusion after his eldest son Ethan dies in a premeditated car crash caused by Damian O’Hara. His younger son Liam clashes repeatedly with the wealthy O’Hara family, who kidnap Liam’s girlfriend Aurora to threaten him. Cain unleashes his financial power and bankrupts O’Hara Group for revenge. Later he meets Lena, chairwoman of Opal, and invests heavily in her brand. Lena’s ex Holton, consumed by jealousy, abducts her at Westside Warehouse and forces Cain to kneel and hand over APEX shares. Holton is arrested in the end. Liam transfers to the finance department to marry Aurora, while Cain and Lena stay together.
